The Screen Decoration Vision Inspection System (SDVIS) is a Windows-based LabVIEW program with the ability to automate the analysis of dish ware. The SDVIS quantifies the magnitude of design and pattern defects in each plate that is inspected. The system classifies each ware as good, minor defect or major defect and provides a set of output signals for ware separation.
The program has a graphical user interface which is designed to be intuitive to use. The software is used to define the plate dimensions, acquisition parameters, analysis parameters, colors of the plate, ignore regions, merge regions and defect limits.
