Sciotex is looking for a highly motivated, and creative individual to fill an immediate opening for an Electronics Assembly and Support Technician. Sciotex is an industrial and scientific focused engineering firm. This position requires the applicant to work at our Newtown Square, PA offices with occasional domestic travel to install, repair or support our systems in the field.

The duties include:
- Assisting the engineering team with electrical and mechanical assembly.
- Support, installation and repair of equipment in the field both remotely and travel.
- Assist with product demonstrations and documentation.
- Basic shop maintenence and organization.
- Parts ordering and basic inventory management.
We will train the right person, but candidates should be comfortable with reading basic assembly CAD drawings, electro/mechanical shop tools, soldering, electrical panel assembly, circuit boards with strong PC skills. PLC or Automation Systems experience helpful as is experience gained from an advanced trade school like automation systems, automotive, HVAC or military electronics/systems. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn, take direction and comfort working both independently and on teams are a great combination.

Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or already legally working in the U.S. No visa sponsorship nor relocation assistance are available for this position.
