Position Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager with experience in Industrial Systems and Software Engineering to lead the development and deployment of intelligent automation systems. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver robust industrial systems that meet and exceed client expectations. You will drive product strategies, ensure seamless product-market fit, and create positive user experiences while coordinating system optimizations for scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Define and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives. Develop roadmaps for both AI-driven and traditional industrial automation systems, prioritizing platforms that can scale rapidly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, sales, and marketing to optimize systems, drive custom engineering, and identify top platforms to enhance product-market fit. Work closely with teams to deliver imaging, video, and educational materials.
- User Experience Design & System Optimization: Create and maintain frictionless user experiences at all levels of operator engagement. Regularly follow up with customers for system optimization and provide a seamless onboarding experience.
- Sales and Marketing Enablement: Collaborate with marketing to create and deliver compelling market-fit copy like case studies, whitepapers, educational programs, and customer-facing articles, images and videos. Support sales teams with demo presentations to prospects, clearly communicating the benefits and features of our solutions while learning hands-on system improvements from the customers perspective.
- Project Management & Engineering Coordination: Oversee product lifecycles, managing software and design changes with limited engineering resources. Document system/software needs and changes thoroughly to guide both engineering and customer success teams.
- Customer Engagement & Demos: Conduct product demos for prospective customers, helping to convert prospects by showcasing product capabilities. Ensure ongoing customer success by optimizing existing systems, addressing evolving needs and driving scale up opportunities in existing largecustomers by hosting learning opportunities, operator certifications etc.
- Technical Expertise: Collaborate with software engineering and industrial engineering teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications. Drive product development with a focus on scalability and high-impact features.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, particularly in mission-critical environments. Continuously evaluate opportunities for optimization across platforms and implement improvements.
- Drive a user fan-base: Continuously drive customer product fit, internal referrals and testimonials to successfully scale system adoption inside of large client organizations which is the primary KPI for this position.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on industrial systems, software engineering, or manufacturing technologies.
- Proven experience in driving product-market fit and user experience design, particularly in the context of industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and industrial engineering principles.
- Experience in UI/UX design, with the ability to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ability and enthusiasm to perform product demos and work closely with customers on system optimization.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience coordinating between sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to manage resource-constrained environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with AI-based automation tools, industrial automation solutions.
- Experience with sales and marketing enablement, particularly in crafting market-fit content and delivering customer education programs.
- Ability to drive software and system design changes, collaborating with engineering to ensure scalable solutions.
