AUTOMATED GAS TESTER

The Gas Tester is an automated gas analyzer that uses an FTIR spectral analyzer to determine the purity and accuracy of mixed gases.

The software accesses AS400 and local database files to determine the gas criteria for the analysis.  The system has many devices in which it communicates including barcode scanners, pressure controllers and transducers, valves, flow controllers, gas dividers, as well as FieldPoint controllers.

A macro scripting language was developed for this application using only LabVIEW code to simplify the many tests and variations of tests that can be performed and allows the program to run for extended periods of time unattended.

The program also closely adheres to EPA protocol and guidelines.
